Dr. Andy Contino and Dr. Jessica Mora are husband and wife, parents to three young boys, and the co-founders of Sunshine Smiles Dental Clinic. They met in high school, went through dental school together, and built the practice they always wanted for their own family. One place where everyone is welcome and nobody gets passed around.
What we believe
We practice physiologic dentistry, which is our way of saying we treat the whole person, not just their teeth. If something keeps going wrong, we look for the cause instead of patching the same spot over and over. We lean on prevention, modern imaging, and materials chosen to work with your body rather than against it.

Meet your Miami dentists
Dr. Andy Contino, DMD
Dr. Contino is one half of Sunshine Smiles and an implant-certified dentist with years of experience in restorative and surgical care. He places dental implants right here in the office, plans complex full-mouth reconstructions, and has a deep library of cases to show for it.
Born in Cuba and raised in Miami, he is fluent in both Spanish and English. He earned his Bachelor's at the University of South Florida and studied abroad at the top dental school in the Dominican Republic, where he graduated top of his class as Chief Dental Student, before completing two years of Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency at NYU Langone Hospital.
He chose this field to give back to his community through the quality care he believes everyone deserves, and while he finds every area of dentistry interesting, his real passion is physiologic cosmetic dentistry. Outside the office, you'll usually find him fishing, watching sports, or working out.
Dr. Jessica Mora, DMD
Dr. Mora is the other half of Sunshine Smiles. She focuses on family care, preventive orthodontics for children, and cosmetic dentistry, and she has a gift for putting nervous patients and squirmy kids at ease.
Like Dr. Contino, she is fully bilingual. Born in Cuba and raised in Miami, she earned her Bachelor's at the University of South Florida, studied abroad at the top dental school in the Dominican Republic, and completed two years of Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency at NYU.
She has strong values and believes every patient should be treated like family, with a special talent for making even the most apprehensive patients feel comfortable and at ease. Outside the office, she loves spending time outdoors and staying active with daily exercise, soaking up the diverse cultures and activities Florida has to offer.
